7 Day Return Policy

You will have seven days from the time of receipt signature (day received). This is a no questions asked, return for any reason policy. You will receive a refund via your method of original payment 25% restocking fee will be taken out of your refund.  Please be sure to confirm ring size before ordering. 

Special orders ARE NOT returnable.

If you have paid using the wire transfer method, we will issue a company check for your refund. The credit will be issued to you within three days of receiving the return. We do not accept returns if another jeweler has altered the item or if it shows obvious signs of wear. Keep in mind some eternity style rings and patterned wedding bands are impossible to resize so be sure to order one of our free ring sizer to confirm your size before ordering. We consider these to be special orders and they are not returnable.

FOR ALL RETURNS and Ring Resizing - Please call us at 1.877.288.9936 enter code 0905 or 423-420-1780 receive a Return Authorization Code. You must have this code to return any item.

Please review the steps below when returning your item:

   1. Place the item back in its original packaging. Be sure to include the certification and appraisal paperwork. (Important note: Failure to return these documents may result in a fee of up to $250.)

   2. Call 1.877.288.9836 enter code 0905 or 423-420-1780 for a Return Authorization Code. Once you receive this code, write it on the label marked "return" on the bottom of your invoice. Then, cut out the label and tape it on the outside of the box in which you are returning the item.

   3. Check the list price of your item on your original invoice, then choose the appropriate option below:

          * If the list price of the item is less than $500: Ship the item back to us via any carrier you choose. For your protection, insure the package and request confirmation that the package has been received. Hearts Desire Jewelers are not responsible for the loss or damage of any items being returned to us.

          * If the list price of the item is more than $500: You must return the package to us via U.S. Postal Service Registered Mail, since FedEx and UPS will not provide insurance on items worth $500 or more. For your protection, insure the package and request confirmation that the package has been received. Hearts Desire Jewelers is not responsible for the loss or

damage of any items being returned to us.

          * Please be sure to include your name and order number with the return.

Once Hearts Desire Jewelers has received the returned item, we will examine the item and notify you via e-mail of the status of your return request. In most cases, this notification will arrive within five business days.

Please note: We will not accept items that are unauthorized, packaged incorrectly or improperly insured. These items will be returned to you. Additionally, we will not accept the return of any item that has been damaged, engraved, re-sized or otherwise altered by a third party.

To Resize A Ring

Some eternity style rings and patterned wedding bands are impossible to resize and are considered Special Order. These are NOT returnable and we are unable to resize them.  Special orders ARE NOT returnable.

Orders and Payment Methods

We accept payment from the major credit cards below:

    * MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Discover
    * Bank wire transfer (includes a 1.5% discount, available on purchases of $500 or more).

If you are under 18, you may purchase goods from Hearts Desire Jewelers only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

Note on Debit Cards

Many banks institute daily limits on the amount you may charge to your debit card. As a result, your purchase may not go through successfully if you use your debit card for payment and the purchase amount exceeds your bank's daily limit. Should this occur, we will contact you and you may request that your bank waive the daily limit for this purchase.

Gift Certificates

To ensure your identity and the security of your purchase, Hearts Desire Jewelers may require credit card verification when using online gift certificates. In this event, your card will only be used to validate your identity and will not be charged unless the purchase amount exceeds the available credit on the gift certificate. Additionally, Hearts Desire Jewelry gift certificates are non-transferable, may not be redeemed for cash and may only be redeemed for purchase on www.heartsdesire.us. Hearts Desire Jewelers is not responsible for honoring lost, stolen or expired gift certificates.

Sales Tax

Sales tax will only be included on orders shipped to addresses within the Commonwealth of Tennessee in the United States.

Return Policy

If you are not satisfied with your diamond purchase for any reason, we will gladly accept the return of any non-engraved item-provided it is in original condition - within 7 days of receipt. For more details, see our Return Policy.

Certification Responsibilities

When you receive a diamond from Hearts Desire Jewelers, the shipment will include a grading report or certificate that confirms the exact properties and value of your diamond. Since these reports are prepared by third-party grading laboratories and are often quite extensive, they are very expensive to replace. Therefore, Hearts Desire Jewelers requires that you return the original diamond grading report should you find it necessary to return the accompanying diamond for any reason. Failure to do so may result in a replacement fee.

Price Reductions

Since Hearts desire Jewelers makes it a policy to offer only the lowest possible prices on our diamonds at all times, our listed prices are final and non-negotiable.
 
Shipping Insurance

Hearts Desire Jewelers insures your ring at no cost to you from the time you order until the time it is delivered to you. We also require a signature on all deliveries to protect your purchase.

Alternate Shipping Address

We will ship your order to an address other than your billing address, provided the alternate address is on record with your credit card company.

International Shipping

Hearts Desire Jewelers reserves the right to refuse shipment to international addresses. If this occurs, we will notify the purchaser.

Saturday Delivery

If necessary, Hearts Desire Jewelers will work with you to arrange for Saturday shipment in those locations where service is available. If Saturday delivery is unavailable in your area, we may be able to arrange for you to pick up your order at the nearest United States Postal Service Center.
 
DIAMOND POLICIES

Ring Size

If you order a diamond ring from Hearts Desire Jewelers that does not fit, you are able to take to jewelers for resizing but if you have the ring resized this is an altered item now and we can not accept it as a return. 

Comparison Purchasing

Hearts Desire Jewelers prohibits comparison purchasing - buying several of the same item for the purpose of comparing them and returning all but one. Due to increased overhead costs, this practice prevents us from offering the lowest possible prices on our diamonds.

The Hearts Desire Jewelers Position on Conflict Diamonds

A U.S. law passed in 2003 officially adopted the "Kimberly Process" as the governing policy on the import of diamonds. The law, which was adopted to address growing concern over illegitimate or "conflict" diamonds, states that all diamonds imported into the U.S. must come through viable, legal channels.
At Hearts Desire Jewelers, we are committed to upholding the Kimberly Process and offering only high-quality diamonds from legitimate and well-respected suppliers.

Product Availability and Pricing

At Hearts Desire Jewelers, we make every effort to ensure accuracy in the products and information listed on our website. However, due to the potential for rapidly changing inventory and/or electronic system errors, incorrect data may rarely appear on our site. These errors may include, but may not be limited to, information regarding product pricing and availability. Should this occur, Hearts Desire Jewelers reserves the right to correct these errors and will not honor incorrectly listed pricing or availability information. 

Online Catalog

In an effort to provide as much detail as possible about your diamond, our online catalog may show pictures of some items that are not to scale and may appear larger or smaller than they actually are. Therefore, we encourage you to carefully review the written dimensions provided with each catalog entry. Additionally, please note that monitor settings may cause the color and size of displayed diamonds to vary slightly.
Please also note the following regarding product listings on the Hearts Desire Jewelers website:

    * In accordance with industry standards and FTC regulations, the total carat weight of a purchased diamond may vary 0.05 carats from the weight stated.
    * The dimensions of our products are based on information provided by the manufacturers. In the case of convex or rounded diamonds, the stated dimensions are measured by the manufacturer prior to the refinement process.
    * For items containing multiple diamonds, the stated grades for color, clarity and carat weight are averages of all stones in our inventory that are used for that particular item.

General

The policies and procedures contained in the Legal Information, Privacy Policies, and Return Policies web pages of this website (called the "Agreement" below) contain the entire agreement between the user and Hearts Desire Jewelers regarding the service provided by Hearts Desire Jewelers, and replaces all prior or contemporaneous representations, understandings or agreements. In the event that any term of the Agreement conflicts with any statement made on any other page of this WebSite, the term of the agreement controls. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Any litigation arising from or related to the Agreement shall be instituted and maintained only in the Circuit Court for the County of Madisonville or the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee. You agree that you hereby waive your right to a jury in any such trial. No failure or delay in exercising or enforcing any right or remedy hereunder by Hearts Desire Jewelers shall constitute a waiver of any other right or remedy, or future exercise thereof. Unless otherwise explicitly stated, the provisions contained herein will survive termination of the user's access to and use of Hearts Desire Jewelers services. If any provision of the Agreement is determined to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, it is to that extent to be deemed omitted, and the balance of the Agreement shall remain enforceable.
